Heather Gilmore has over 14 years government, financial services and media experience. She has advised three CEOs and a New South Wales Premier and Treasurer on crisis communications, issues management and strategic planning.
Heather was a senior manager at Westpac and worked with Government and executive team on the merger with St George and the successful bid for the Barangaroo development.
Prior to this Heather was a media advisor to Premier Morris Iemma for the 2007 election campaign, and senior media advisor to Treasurer Michael Costa during the 2008 Labor State Conference. She was also the first Public Affairs Manager for RailCorp and managed the Waterfall train crash and Millennium launch.
A journalist by trade, Heather was a senior reporter for nine years at the Daily Telegraph and the New York Post. While in New York she completed the Masters of Strategic Communications at Columbia University.
